Coach Hewerton Moreira is a former Brazilian professional player, championship-winning coach, and internationally recognized futsal leader. Born and raised in Santos, Brazil, Hewerton developed through the renowned Santos FC youth system — one of the world's most respected football clubs, internationally recognized for producing some of the greatest players in the history of the game. He went on to become one of North America's premier professional players, earning All-Star honours and capturing three professional championships across the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) and Major Arena Soccer League (MASL), before serving as Head Coach of the United States Men's National Futsal Team. As founder of HM79, Hewerton is passionate about sharing the Brazilian futsal philosophy — technical excellence, creativity, speed of play, confidence, and intelligent decision-making — with the next generation.
